Reuse Policy

1. In General

A. License

"Darfur Dream Team's Sister School Program" is a campaign initiative launched by the USA for UNHCR ("USA for UNHCR"), i-Act ("i-Act"), Facing History and Ourselves National Foundation, Inc. ("Facing History"), and the Enough Project, a project of the Center for American Progress ("American Progress") (collectively, the "Darfur Dream Team," "we," "Parties"). Trade and service marks for Darfur Dream Team and the Darfur Dream Team logos displayed on this website (the "Darfur Dream Team Brand") have been applied for by or are owned by the Parties. You may not use the Darfur Dream Team Brand unless otherwise granted a license under this policy or directly from the Darfur Dream Team.

Generally, you may copy, reprint, publish, reproduce, or otherwise display materials (excluding photos) from www.DarfurDreamTeam.org ("Site") on the condition that you attribute those materials to Darfur Dream Team and provide a link to the Site. Specifically, any article or materials that you reprint or otherwise reproduce must be displayed with its by-line, if applicable, under one of the following heading:

"This material [article] was created by Darfur Dream Team (www.DarfurDreamTeam.org)"

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may not, reprint, publish, reproduce, or otherwise display materials solely bearing Facing History's copyright notice or trademark without prior written authorization from Facing History.

B. Copyright Protection

The materials produced by the Darfur Dream Team (including, but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, video and audio content) are protected by copyright as either individual works, collective works, or compilations under the copyright laws of the United States and other countries. All individual articles, content and other elements comprising this Site are also copyrighted works of the Parties either individually or collectively. You must abide by all additional copyright notices or restrictions contained in any materials produced on the Site.

C. Limit on Use

Except as expressly permitted above, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, enter into a database, display, perform, modify, create derivative works, transmit, or in any way exploit any material produced on the Site. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you may not distribute any material produced on the Site over any network, including a local area network, nor sell or offer it for sale.

2. Editorial Changes Not Permitted

You may not make any editorial changes to articles or materials without first receiving express permission from Darfur Dream Team. This provision does not restrict excerpting portions of content in a manner that does not alter the editorial intent.

3. Revocation in Place of Breach

If any of the terms of this agreement are breached, Darfur Dream Team reserves the right to withdraw your license to republish and reuse our material. In this situation, you must take immediate steps to remove our material from all current and past communications.
